Kate Williams, LMT

Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT)
Specialties: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, Acupressure, Hot Stone Massage, Thai Massage, Shiatsu Massage

Born and raised in Oregon, my path led me to the Oregon School of Massage in Portland in 2010, shortly after high school. I received my massage certification in Portland in 2012. What I love most about massage is how it's a tangible form of healing, yet still at the same time, energetic and spiritual as well. Using touch is so important.

My favorite modalities are Trigger Point Therapy, Acupressure, as well as providing deeply nourishing experiences. I am able to blend these to provide injury care, or relaxation. I also dabble in Hot Stone, Thai, and Shiatsu Massage. I am happy to provide a blend of any of these to my clients.

Cheryl Allison, LMT

Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT)
Specialties: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Polarity Therapy, Injury Treatment, Sports Massage, Prenatal Massage, Hot Stone Massage

Cheryl Allison, licensed in both the state of Oregon and Washington, has an active 10 year practice in massage therapy. She trained at Renton Technical College in Washington, and graduated as a massage practitioner in 2006. Earlier training included a 10-year immersion in Polarity Therapy, which is a healing modality that addresses energy flow within the body, and a three-year focus on self-growth with hands-on healing. Her practice focuses on deep tissue and injury treatment, as well as sports, pregnancy, hot stone and Swedish massage techniques.

During all massage therapy treatment sessions, Cheryl’s goal is to facilitate the body’s natural, innate propensity to return to optimal health. She does this by releasing blockages and increasing flow within muscles, tissues and energy channels. She uses a variety of techniques to address fascial layers that are restricted and adhered, uncover and release tender points and trigger points in the tissues and release the ‘rings of tension’ within the body that disrupt the body’s natural balance and alignment. Cheryl’s approach also involves stretching muscles and finding deeper tension in order to release it.

Over many years of giving massage, I have developed a style of therapy that meets my client in the present moment and adapts to their needs. Lauren McCarthy, LMT

Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT)
Specialties: Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, Acupressure

I am an adamant believer in the importance of receiving positive therapeutic touch. Massage can bring an extensive range of enriching benefits to the recipient; it soothes the nervous system, increases circulation, promotes our body’s natural healing response and supports overall well-being.

I entered the world of massage coming from a musical background; I have been a violinist for 17 years, and I couldn’t deny that the years of extended time playing my instrument had left some residual tension and torsion in my body. In an attempt to better understand my own pain, I was inspired to study massage. During this time I was able to learn how to help myself, but my focus began to shift as I realized the profound joy I received from helping others as well.

I graduated as a practitioner of massage in Eugene, Oregon in February 2018. I am excited to continue to learn new modalities and as I gain experience with my trade. I offer a broad range of techniques to relax the mind, decrease pain, increase range of motion, alleviate stress, and revitalize the spirit. I specialize in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy with an influence of myofascial release and acupressure techniques.

Working with people to improve their quality of life and promote healing and wellness is something that brings me an immeasurable degree of peace and purpose in my life. I take great pride in always providing a warm, safe, and peaceful space for anyone who is looking to manage their pain, relieve stress, or just relax and unwind. I strive to never stop growing and expanding my skill-set to better serve the people in my community.
